It all started back in 1977 where Miss Cole married Mr Mac. Their relationship was always based around hospitality and generosity. Their house was always full of people, laughter and kindness. Kathleen loved baking. There was always a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake waiting, just incase someone popped ‘round! James made this marriage complete with his big heart. He loved to serve others and give where he could or where there was a need; even if it meant he went without. 

 

Kathleen and James raised two children, instilling these values; always loving people, always welcoming people into the family, always trying to make a difference where possible. Always with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake! Kathleen sadly passed away in 2014 at the age of 56, leaving James heartbroken. Kathleen’s legacy lives on and James continues to make a difference. We will always remember her and to this day people continue to remember the stories, the cakes and the impact that she made. Kathleen and James’ values continue with the next generation, which leads us to Cole & Mac Coffee Roasters; a company based around hospitality and generosity, making a difference wherever possible.
